Editorial mission
MindFolio publishes educational financial information intended to make investing, markets, and personal-finance topics easier to understand. We aim for clear explanations, useful context, and transparent limits. Our content is not personalised investment, tax, legal, or accounting advice, and it should not be treated as a substitute for a qualified professional who understands a reader’s circumstances.
Research and source selection
When an article makes a factual claim about regulation, tax treatment, public markets, government statistics, or a company, we seek a relevant and authoritative source. Preferred sources include official agencies, regulatory bodies, central banks, company filings, and primary publications. Secondary reporting may be used to provide context, but it should not replace a primary source for a material claim when a primary source is available.
We aim to place source links close to the claims they support. A link is not an endorsement of every view expressed by the source, and a source should not be used to imply a conclusion it does not support. Where a figure, rule, fee, or limit can change, it is reviewed when the article is materially updated.
Human review and authorship
MindFolio is led editorially by Ahmet Yılmaz, Financial Analyst and Financial Technology Entrepreneur. He reviews content for clarity, relevance, source support, and the appropriate presentation of uncertainty and risk. The MindFolio brand is the publisher; it is not presented as a fictional person or as a substitute for named authorship.
Use of AI tools
AI tools may support research organisation, data handling, topic exploration, draft development, and production workflows. They do not make the final publication decision. Content is reviewed by a human before publication, and we do not knowingly publish unsupported claims, fabricated sources, or invented expert credentials. When a claim cannot be supported or verified, it should be removed or qualified rather than presented as fact.
Corrections and updates
Financial information can change quickly. We correct material errors after review and update relevant pages when a substantive change improves accuracy, usefulness, or context. A page’s visible update date should reflect a meaningful revision, not a technical change or a routine site-wide template adjustment. Readers can send a correction request to invest@mindfolio.net with the page URL and supporting source.
Commercial independence
MindFolio’s intended revenue model is Google AdSense advertising. Editorial conclusions are not sold to advertisers. The site does not currently publish affiliate recommendations, paid product placements, or sponsored editorial content. If that changes, MindFolio will disclose the relevant commercial relationship clearly and update its policies before publication.
